Where We Are Now
South Coastal Village Volunteers is Celebrating its Fifth Anniversary (see our new logo!) and we want to thank you for your continued interest and support as we help older adults age in place.
Because you have been a key participant in our success, we want to share with you our accomplishments via our annual Where We Are Now news.
Our 2025 Accomplishments
- We have 188 active volunteers now completing approximately 310 member requests per month .
- Currently SCVV is serving 93 members .
- Volunteers completed over 3,500 member services in 2024 .
- Volunteers have completed over 9,000 member services since 2021 .
- Volunteers have given 14,500 volunteer hours of service since 2021 .
- We held a Heart Health Program for our members.
- We are offering Chair Yoga to our members and volunteers starting in the Fall.
- We are collaborating with Salt Air Gardeners - they will be helping our members make beautiful floral arrangements, other horticultural projects, workshops, and help with guided field trips.
As you can see, a lot of good things are happening for South Coastal Village Volunteers. We are proud of what we have accomplished and look forward to an even more successful future!
Celebrate our Fifth Anniversary at the Cripple Creek Golf & Country Club with music provided by 5th Avenue . Please join us for an evening of fun, food, and friendship to celebrate our success.
